Meet Isla! <br/><br/>Isla is a beautiful little girl who is still learning that people can be kind. She came into rescue very unsure of human interaction, so she's looking for a patient adopter who will let her move at her own pace without expecting overnight progress. Every day she grows a little braver, and it's been wonderful watching her slowly become more comfortable with the people she trusts.<br/><br/>Isla absolutely loves other cats and gains a great deal of confidence from having feline friends around. She would thrive in a home with a confident, friendly resident cat or could be adopted with one of her kitten friends through our Best Friend Bonus, giving her a built-in buddy to help show her the ropes. While she hasn't spent much time around dogs, she could likely adjust to a calm, cat-savvy dog with slow introductions and plenty of patience.<br/><br/>Because she's still building her confidence, Isla is looking for a quiet home with adults or respectful teenagers only. Young children would simply be too overwhelming for her.
