Isabella's Story

Hi, my name is Isabella. I'm a serene, gentle soul. I'm the kind of cat who brings a quiet sense of peace wherever I go. My foster mom says I'm the calmest, most unflappable cat she's seen all year. When I arrived, I simply stepped out of my carrier, took a look around, and settled in like I had always belonged. I'm a stunning Snowshoe -Max mix with a soft white face and belly, giving me an almost ragdoll-like appearance. My medium-length coat is silky and easy to care for, and I absolutely love being brushed; it's one of my favorite things in the world. I have a low energy level and a very gentle presence. I'm happiest sitting on your lap while you brush me or pet me, or resting quietly beside you so we can simply enjoy each other's company. I'm affectionate without being demanding. I just like to be close. I'm also a devoted and incredibly patient mama. I've raised my babies: Izzy, Inky, and Iredale, with endless love, even letting them climb all over me (including my head!) without a fuss. I'm a very quiet cat. I learned to be silent while living outdoors, and now I only make the tiniest little meows when it's time to eat. I do chirp softly in my sleep sometimes, which my foster mom says is the sweetest thing she's ever heard. I don't purr much yet, but there's every reason to believe that once I feel fully safe and settled, my purr will come back. I'm perfectly litter box trained, clean, and very easy to live with. I haven't met dogs or kids yet, but with my calm and steady nature, I may do well with gentle introductions. The best way to my heart is simple: kindness, a soft place to sit, and a brush in your hand. I'm ready for a peaceful indoor life where I can finally relax and be cared for the way I deserve. If you're looking for a quiet, loving companion, I'll be right by your side. A year old.

This cat/kitten is at Lake Oswego Petco. Petco adoption counselors handle the adoption process.
