Isaac's Story
Hi. I'm Isaac, and I have a lot going on under the surface.

I was born in August 2024 alongside my sisters Ivy and Indica — yes, the brave one and the sassy one. I am the third option. The thoughtful one. The one who watches, considers, and acts only when the moment is exactly right. Some people call this being quiet. I call it strategy.

When I first arrived at the shelter, I stayed hidden. Not because I was scared — okay, maybe a little because I was scared — but also because I needed to assess the situation. A guy can't just commit without doing his research. When I moved into foster care, though? The data came back favorable. I've been cautiously thriving ever since.

My foster calls me "The Ventriloquist" because I produce the tiniest, sweetest meows known to catkind — without opening my mouth. It is a gift. I deploy it selectively.

During the day you'll find me in my cozy cube, resting and observing from a strategic distance. At night, when the world gets quiet and my confidence gets loud, I come alive — chasing, playing, living my best life with my feline friends. There are two Isaacs. Day Isaac and Night Isaac. Both are excellent.

Here's the thing about me and people: I want the loving. I really, truly want it. You'll see me walking back and forth, rubbing against the wall, the chair, the table — getting closer, retreating, getting closer again — because everything in me is saying yes and the last little piece of me is still saying but are you sure? I'm working on it. The pets I have accepted have been worth it every time.

I'd love a quiet, adult-only home — ideally with a sibling or a calm feline friend to help me feel anchored. I don't need loud. I don't need fast. I need patient, and gentle, and someone who thinks a cat slowly working up the courage to ask for love is just about the sweetest thing they've ever seen.

Because I promise — when I finally decide you're safe?

I am so worth the wait.

Love (incoming, gradually), Isaac

If you are interested in meeting this cat, please fill out an application on our website!

https://www.therescuepack.org/cat-adoption-application

--
Our adoption fee includes spay/neuter and microchipping for all animals. Our adoption fee is $300 per cat.

All have had a vet exam, are up to date on vaccinations, have been given a dewormer and treated for fleas and ear mites if needed. All cats are tested for FeLV/FIV at six months of age.
