Irma's Story
Hello. My name is Irma, and I have already given so much love to this world. I'm hoping now to receive some in return.

I was born in December 2023, and by July 2025 I found myself in a shelter, pregnant and afraid. I didn't know what came next — but I knew what was needed. I settled in, I focused, and I raised five beautiful babies with everything I had. When a shy sibling group needed a friend, I showed up for them too. That's just who I am.

Those friendships earned me a place in foster care, and it's here that I've begun to understand what it feels like to simply be cared for. To be petted gently and have nowhere urgent to be. To curl up in a cozy cube or a bowl-shaped bed and exhale. To sleep beside my foster mom and feel safe in the quiet dark. I've started coming out to be with everyone during the day now, and each small step forward has felt like a gift I didn't know I was allowed to have.

I love soft pets and will answer them with steady, grateful purrs. I love high perches where I can watch the world peacefully. I love my wet food with my whole heart. And if others aren't watching, I love theirs too! I am gentle and I am good, and I have so much tenderness left to give.

I'm looking for a calm, kid-free home — ideally with a friendly feline companion to keep me company, perhaps one of the friends I've made here. I don't need excitement or adventure. I need patience, warmth, and someone who understands that a cat who has weathered hard things deserves a soft landing.

I've done the brave part. I just need someone to bring me home.

With all my love, Irma

If you are interested in meeting this cat, please fill out an application on our website!

https://www.therescuepack.org/cat-adoption-application

--
Our adoption fee includes spay/neuter and microchipping for all animals. Our adoption fee is $300 per cat.

All have had a vet exam, are up to date on vaccinations, have been given a dewormer and treated for fleas and ear mites if needed. All cats are tested for FeLV/FIV at six months of age.
