Meet Iris
Iris is an 8-year-old sweetheart seeking a calm haven to call home. This low-energy cat adores affection, from daily brushes to bedtime cuddles. Iris dislikes loud noises and being picked up but will reward your kindness with purrs and companionship. If you're yearning for a loving and serene feline companion, Iris is your perfect match. She revels in quiet spaces, loafing, and afternoon naps on the couch. Likes the fishing pole toy used as a bird. Ignores noisy toys. Loves to be brushed. She prefers napping overplaying. Toys don't hold her attention for long but she does need to move more due to her weight.
She lives in a one-bedroom apartment with two roommates: a hamster and a female human. Not a climber, prefers the ground or the couch. Unknown if she would get along well with other cats, dogs, or kids. In her perfect home, she envisions soft and quiet corners for loafing, comfortable spots for afternoon naps, and, most importantly, a warm and secure place in bed for undisturbed slumber with her human.
Iris is overweight, so her future owner needs to follow their vet's instructions when it comes to her diet. The owner also needs to make an effort to get Iris moving, since she is not very active. Due to being overweight, Iris can't groom some areas so she needs help grooming. This won't be a problem since she is obsessed with getting brushed.
