Inky's Story

Hi, my name is Inky. I'm the biggest (if not by much), bravest, and only boy of my litter. I'm also the most easygoing kitten. My foster mom says I'd make the perfect first kitten because I'm playful, affectionate, adaptable, and wonderfully relaxed about life in general.
I'm a handsome tuxedo kitten with a bright pink nose and one tiny black dot right on it, like I accidentally booped an ink pen. My coat is short, sleek, and very low-maintenance: no extra grooming work required. I'm also the only one of my litter with a long tail, lucky me! My siblings are Izzy and Iredale, and I'd love to go home with one of them. Wherever I end up, I'll bring joy, laughter, and a wonderfully gentle little presence into your life.
I'm brave, curious, and always ready to investigate whatever's happening. If there's a toy moving, I'm after it immediately...even if that means accidentally running right over my sisters in the process. I can be a little uncoordinated during playtime, which sometimes leads to spectacular crashes into walls or furniture. If you hear a bang from another room... that was probably me. Oops. Despite all my enthusiasm, I'm incredibly mellow and go-with-the-flow. I adapt easily, don't get worked up over much, and genuinely enjoy being around people. I'd fit beautifully into almost any home whether you're a first-time kitten owner, a family, or someone looking to add another cat to your existing clowder. I'm also very cuddly. I was the first kitten to fall asleep in my foster momma's lap, and my favorite place to nap is actually stretched across her chest while she relaxes. Apparently that's unusual for kittens, but I think it's the perfect spot. I'm floppy and relaxed when picked up, can be held upside down without complaint, and enjoy affection in sweet little bursts, especially around mealtime. I'm normal in terms of talking, though I do make tiny cries when I'm hungry or when I want to come out and explore. I'm still "finding my voice," but I already know how to ask politely for snacks. I'm perfectly litter box trained and very easy to care for. I've met a dog before and was nervous, but I was also the bravest of my siblings. I was the only one willing to walk up and investigate the dog through the cage door. With slow introductions, I'd likely adjust very well. The best way to my heart is simple: playtime followed immediately by cuddle-and-nap time. Or food. Honestly, food works too. Loves his siblings.

This cats/kittens are at the Petco listed below. Petco adoption counselors handle the adoption process. ADOPTION PROCESS With few exceptions, all of our cats and kittens are located in the Portland area Petco identified in their description. Petco employs trained adoption counselors to guide you through the process and answer your questions. You can meet your prospective furry companion in person and fill out the adoption application they provide. If you're interested in a kitty, we recommend you go to the Petco where that kitty is listed without delay. Petco only does in-person adoptions. Petco does not profit from the adoption fees in any way. Thank you Petco for making this possible.
