Inferno's Story

Meet Inferno, a one-year-old tabby with a gorgeous striped coat and the most stunning green eyes. She is also the last remaining member of our Fire Litter still waiting for her furever home.

Just days before Christmas, Inferno and seven other cats survived a devastating house fire in Ansonia. After the home was deemed unsafe, they were left behind to fend for themselves in a crumbling house surrounded by ash and rubble until help finally arrived. Despite everything she went through, Inferno has shown incredible resilience.

Inferno has a quiet sweetness that makes her truly special. She is still learning that the world can be a safe and loving place, so she’ll need a patient home willing to give her the time and understanding she deserves. Once she feels comfortable, her gentle personality shines—she especially loves soft pets and calm affection. She can also be quite vocal and isn’t afraid to chat with you when she wants attention or to let you know what’s on her mind.

This little queen also has a funny, adorable habit: she loves drinking straight from the faucet like the pampered royalty she is! When she’s feeling playful, she enjoys spending time with the kittens in her foster home, so she would love to find a family with another young kitty friend.

She is currently at the Purrfect Lounge in Plainville, a cat lounge where guests can visit and play with the cats. All meet & greets for Inferno will take place there, giving you a chance to see her sweet personality in action! Book your visit at https://www.purrfect-lounge.com.

Her adoption fee is $250 ($200 goes to the rescue, $50 to the lounge) and Inferno is vaccinated, FIV/FELV negative, microchipped, and spayed.
