Indigo's Story

Indigo is a truly special girl, and you can feel it the moment you meet her. This beautiful dilute calico carries a quiet story in her eyes and in the soft tone of her meow—a past that shaped her while she was out on her own. But despite whatever she’s been through, Indigo has chosen trust, and that makes her all the more remarkable.

She’s sweet and gentle, with a calm presence that draws you in. Indigo enjoys her comforts—especially her wet food and a cozy spot where she can relax and feel safe. She prefers her space respected and isn’t shy about letting you know if you’re interrupting her peace, but it’s more of a soft, honest communication than anything else.

Indigo is what you might call a "mystery bean." She isn’t a cat who shows you everything all at once—her personality unfolds slowly over time, revealing deeper layers of affection, trust, and quiet companionship the more you get to know her.

If you’re someone who appreciates a gentle soul and the beauty of earning a cat’s trust, Indigo is ready to share her story with you, one moment at a time.

Our cat adoption fee is $110 and includes their spay/neuter surgery, microchipping, age-appropriate vaccinations, and preventatives. You can find our adoption questionnaire at agcshelter.org/adopt-1 or stop in to meet all of our adoptable pets Tuesday–Saturday from 1pm–4pm. No appointment required!
