IHOP's Story
This charismatic sweetheart has a master’s degree in purr-ology with an emphasis in cuddles! IHOP is the ultimate dreamboat. Once he’s settled into his home, he is not shy about having the attention on him and wants to be the center of your world. He loves to follow his people around the house and is always up for some quality snuggle time. Even though IHOP only has 3 paws and a cute little tail, it definitely does not slow him down in the slightest. He’s truly amazing in every way and is sure to make his forever family happy.

This cat arrived at VHS with a severe untreatable injury to his left front limb and tail. To treat his wounds and relieve pain, it was necessary to amputate both his left front limb and tail. He has recovered and healed from the surgeries well. He has sutures in his tail which should be removed between 9/11-9/15. Once the surgery sites have completely healed, he is expected to be pain-free and no further treatment for his wounds are anticipated. Three-legged cats have an excellent quality of life. They can be extremely active and he is expected to have a normal life-span for a cat. It is recommended that he be kept indoors for his own safety due to his minor physical limitations.

IHOP was transferred to Valley Humane on 8/17 from the East County Animal Shelter. He had been found stray. IHOP is a young adult cat (estimated to be aged between 1 and 4 years) and weighs 10.1 pounds.

Do you have questions about this animal or are you ready to take the next step to adoption?
