Meet Hyde, the handsome 6 year old tabby cat with beautiful green eyes! Hyde came to the shelter after his previous owners moved and were unable to keep him. Hyde is a friendly guy who loves people and has history of playing well with a cat and dog in his previous home. This sweet boy does have a history of a chronic medical issue that we haven’t seen here at the shelter, but potential adopters should keep this in mind as it may require more frequent vet visits. If you’re looking for a friendly “ senior” kitty who still has plenty of life to live, come meet Hyde! Hyde's adoption fee is sponsored thanks to the Silver Whisker’s Society, a fund aiming to get often overlooked seniors out of the Shelter! Please note: Our Santa Cruz location’s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end “meet and greets” (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If you’d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
