Meet Hermione

Hermione is a friendly 1-year-old cat looking for her forever home!

This striking calico girl is sweet and very intelligent. She easily recognizes patterns and routines and makes sure to use them to her advantage! She tends to be reserved around new people, preferring to size them up from a distance. Once she's warmed to someone though, she'll follow them around, even standing up to get closer for scratches. She just can't get enough love!

Hermione loves to climb and find her way to the highest point in a room. She's incredibly athletic. She'll bound up a cat tree faster than it seems possible! She adores playing with people and will jump excitedly for wand toys. When entertaining herself, she loves ball track toys and anything she can make skitter across the floor. She's also fascinated by the birds at the bird feeder, watching them for ages. After playing hard, she will curl up in the basket of the cat tree or snuggle into a cat bed to enjoy a well-earned nap.

Hermione is young and very active. She needs lots of enrichment and variety to keep from getting bored. She also needs lots of vertical spaces to run up and down. This sociable beauty is used to having cat playmates around and needs to either go home with another Pet Haven feline friend, or to a home with an active, friendly resident cat to be her buddy.

Hermione does seem to get respiratory infections fairly easily. If she gets an infection, she will need an exam and likely a round of antibiotics. Her vet also recommends daily l-lysine supplements to support her immune system and reduce her chances of getting an infection.

Hermione is currently living in a three-bedroom house with her foster mom, two resident cats, four foster cats, and four foster kittens.

Hermione would thrive in a loving, busy home with another active, friendly cat (she hasn’t met any dogs yet). While she would do well with older kids who are familiar with cats, she would be uncomfortable around young children. Because of her tendency to get respiratory issues, her new family should be comfortable giving oral meds when needed. She takes medicine without issue.

This stunning girl is so ready to fill your home with love, affection, and plenty of busy-cat shenanigans! If you’re ready to go to the top of the class in your house this year, then point your wand at the lovely Ms. Hermione and make the magic happen!

There is no guarantee of age and breed as a rescue animal's history is unknown. All ages and breeds are best estimate. Adoption fees include a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%.
