Hi! My name is Henny Penny. I am a 7-year-old, female, gray cat with white. I have been surrendered to Purring Hearts VA to help me find a new home. My owner has gone into a nursing home and can no longer take care of me. I am a bit shy at first around strangers, and I prefer to sit with my human rather than in a lap. I do talk a bit and can have a little "cattitude" when I want some privacy. I am a litter box champ! I like to play with little toys and bird watch through the window. I have been a solitary indoor kitty for the two years that my previous owner had me. I have not been exposed to other cats or dogs--at this point, I would prefer to be an only pet. Additionally, I would prefer a household with older (12+) or no children. I am spayed, up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccines, tested for FIV/FeLV (negative/negative), and have my microchip.
