Hi! They call me Hemingway on account of my polydactyl paws. That means I have six toes on each paw, which was once considered good luck by sailors. A long time ago, a sailor gifted a polydactyl cat to Ernest Hemingway, the author. He fell in love with the cat and decided to breed our kind at his home in Key West, Florida. Now we're all over the country!<br/><br/>Anyway, I happen to share some traits with Hemingway himself. I'm a big personality, a little moody, pretty tough, but warm and loveable all the same. I also share his love of hunting (toy mice are my game of choice), and I have a way with words (meow, meow). I'm obsessed with weaving in between your ankles, so watch out or you could trip over me!<br/><br/>I would do best in a home where I'm the only pet/baby.
