About 1 year old, Hazelnut is a sweet, curious young girl with a resilient spirit and a big love for food. Hazelnut came to us as a stray and was very skinny when she was rescued, so it’s no surprise that mealtime is currently one of her favorite things. As she continues to settle into the comfort and security of indoor life, we expect her confidence around food to naturally balance out once she fully understands that she will always be safe and well-fed.<br/><br/>She is an intelligent, agile, and highly curious kitty who enjoys exploring her surroundings. Not long after arriving, she impressively managed to open her room door, slip past a baby gate, and help herself to a little “buffet” — including both her food and the resident cats’ meals! 😸<br/><br/>Despite her adventurous streak, Hazelnut has already shown how quickly she can adapt. When she met a resident cat, she was calm, unbothered, and social, suggesting she’s comfortable adjusting to new feline friends once she feels secure.<br/><br/>Hazelnut is looking for a loving forever home where she can continue to build trust, feel safe, and thrive. Hazelnut a été trouvée errante et était très maigre lors de son sauvetage, donc ce n’est pas surprenant que les repas soient actuellement l’une de ses plus grandes passions. En s’adaptant à la sécurité et au confort de la vie à l’intérieur, on s’attend à ce que sa relation avec la nourriture se stabilise lorsqu’elle comprendra pleinement qu’elle sera toujours en sécurité et bien nourrie.<br/><br/>C’est une minette intelligente, agile et extrêmement curieuse qui adore explorer son environnement. Peu de temps après son arrivée, elle a réussi à ouvrir la porte de sa pièce, à passer sous une barrière pour bébé et à se servir un vrai petit “festin” — incluant sa nourriture et celle des chats de la maison! 😸<br/><br/>Malgré son côté aventurière, Hazelnut s’est déjà très bien adaptée à son nouvel environnement. Lorsqu’elle a rencontré un chat résident, elle est demeurée calme, détendue et aucunement dérangée, ce qui démontre qu’elle peut s’adapter facilement à de nouveaux compagnons félins une fois qu’elle se sent en sécurité.<br/><br/>Hazelnut recherche une famille aimante qui pourra lui offrir stabilité, douceur et un environnement sécurisant où elle pourra continuer à s’épanouir.
