Hazel found herself outdoors, unspayed, so you can guess what happened next! Hazel is the mother of the 'mixed nuts' litter (available for adoption 6/14). Fast forward to now and Hazel is finding her own life safe indoors and spayed. Her foster reports that Hazel is a really sweet kitty, loves company, and follows her around the house. She loves to be petted if you come to her while she rolls around on the floor. So far she's not a huge fan of being held but can be picked up with some wiggling on her part! Hazel loves high places and sitting in windows to enjoy the view. She is a great eater of both wet and dry cat food. Temptations cat treats have been a big hit and she loves to chase them when they slide across the floor. She is very neat and clean and doesn't shed much despite her gorgeous medium/long fur.

Hazel should do well with the right kitty friend, a good match may be a playful younger male cat, but she's fine by herself too. Hazel is 2 years old and looking forward to meeting her forever family soon!

All of our cats and kittens are rescues. They are mixed breed unless otherwise noted. If a cat or kitten is tagged as a particular breed we do not have papers to verify the breed information. We assign breeds to our cats and kittens based on similar appearance, size, and temperament as described in the breed description of a purebred cat.

ABOUT OUR ORGANIZATION: Cats R Us is a not for profit, 501(c)(3) cat rescue group that operates two small shelters and a foster home program in the Annapolis, Maryland area. Our main focus is TNvR-M (Trap, Neuter, vaccinate, Return and Monitor) of community cats but we also have tame cats and kittens available for adoption. All of our adoptable cats and kittens are found as strays. We are a NO KILL facility and our cats will stay with us as long as it takes for them to find their forever home. Our adoption fee is $120.00 for kittens under 1 year (2 for $200), $100 for cats over 1 year (2 for $180), and $150 - $250 for exotic breed cats or kittens. The adoption fee helps our rescue cover the cost of all initial vet work including a wellness exam, spay or neuter, vaccinations, tested negative for FeLV and FIV (unless otherwise noted), treated for parasites (fleas, ticks, intestinal worms, ear mites), and microchipped.
