Harriet Calico & Tabby Mix Jefferson, LA

Meet Harriet! This outgoing burst of energy was brought to the shelter as a stray. She had an open wound above her eye that you could see the eye globe through the hole. As soon as our Programs Director saw her intake photo, she asked the shelter if she could take her. Our vet, Dr. Wisdom jumped in to do a quick surgery to repair the wound above her eye to protect her eye. A few days later, we took in another kitten with an eye injury, Ozzie, and they went into foster with Amelie our cat caretaker.

After Harriet recovered from her surgery, her little personality came out. She's so brave. Her little buddy Ozzie still has to have his eye removed but she helps him learn how to kitten. They are still in our isolation area and go home with Amelie most days so if you want to meet them, it's best to check in first and make sure they are there the day you plan to come. Adoption Fee is $100/each or $150/pair. We like our kittens to have friends so we want a pair adoption if you have no other pets unless we know a specific kitten prefers to be alone. All kittens are Spayed/Neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccines, FeLV/FIV tested and microchipped.
