Hana (Ha-nah) means "flower". Hana is super adventurous and outgoing. She's also very sweet like a little flower. Although totally content at first to spread her roots and spend time to herself, if given the opportunity, she will bloom into the most endearing blossom with your love and affection.
All that's needed is a little water(attention) and sunlight(affection), as well as a little bit of patience and you'll see that bud open up to bloom into a lovely flower of feline affection.
Hana shows her affection through licking. Not just you, but any other animal she's bonded with. She's good with polite dogs. She'd do best if adopted with one of her brothers, as she loves to play, but also loves to relax and just bathe her brothers.
Once bonded to someone, she will happily approach them, snuggle up and bathe them, before settling down for a nap. She loves to climb, so she's best suited for a place with at least one cat tree, unless you want her climbing your curtains.
She may play rough, but does know the command, 'Easy' to help if she bites or scratches too hard. Most of the time though she tends to be very gentle.
When introducing a new furry into an existing family of pets, we strongly recommend keeping them in separate rooms as they adjust to the smell of the new addition. Dogs in particular should be crated or secured to protect cats when there is no responsible adult to supervise.
Whether kittens / cats come in as strays or owner surrenders, we make our best guess as to birthdate and breed.
We are an all-volunteer, foster-based rescue. We receive no funding from agencies.
