Meet Hammie, Quincy, and Chestnut (Bonded Trio)

Hammie, Quincy, and Chestnut are 1-year-old bonded brothers who are energetic and playful, looking for their forever home!

Hammie is the boldest and friendliest of the trio, he likes to be all up in his humans’ business! He is goofy and “floppy” and easily handled. He doesn’t sleep in laps yet, but that surely will come with age. He has tons of youthful energy and is very playful!

Quincy is more cautious around humans than Hammie, but when he decides he feels lovey, he will rub up on your legs to let you know and may even flop over and let you pet his soft tummy! He is curious and playful! The vet noted he has a heart murmur, but said it’s just something to watch, not a concern at this point.

Chestnut is the most timid of the trio. He is playful with his brothers, on his own with a toy, or with toys dangled by his humans. He does not mind being petted if he’s being fed dinner, otherwise takes some coaxing to get close. He will hover just out of reach and sometimes lean in for a good chin scratching. He needs patient humans who will continue to work on socializing him.

They all love to chase each other around the house, thundering down the hallways! They wrestle with each other and love to chase toys and laser pointers that are moved about by their humans. When worn out, they like to curl up on the cat trees or snuggle together in a kitty bed. They also very much like having windows to look out of and a catio or screened-in porch in which to enjoy some fresh air.

They like to check in on the humans to make sure they wake up, followed by a morning chase/wrestle session with each other, pausing occasionally to catch some fresh air on the catio. Quincy and Hammie will help their humans get ready for their day by rubbing against their legs. Mid-day is nap time. They engage in more goofy shenanigans around dinner time (they will tell you when it’s time for dinner!) and hopefully some energy-zapping play time with the humans

They live in a single-family home with 4 humans and 5 other cats. They would do best in a family with prior cat-guardian experience who will make time to play with them and also have patience with Chestnut while he continues to come out of his shell. They would also do well in a home that has little room to run so they can continue to play their chasing games. As well as a home that will keep them safe as indoor cats, but has somewhere they can experience the outside safely like a catio or screened-in porch.

If you are looking for a sweet young cat trio to add to your home consider Hammie, Quincy, and Chestnut!
