Halley's Story

If Halley’s personality could be summed up in one word it would be: outgoing. Not only is she very independent but she is the leader of her siblings. In some cases she leads them to do naughty tasks but most of the time she is showing them to have fun. She spends most her days sleeping and other parts of her day eating. Not to mention she is very playful with her siblings. She is now about 7 months old, and all of her siblings have been adopted except her :(

Although she is the smallest she has the toughest fights with her bigger brother and enjoys every wrestling match. She enjoys the company of other cats and animals like dogs and bunnies. She enjoys cuddling when she’s tired and will sleep near your legs and chest. She is being fostered with kids and loves to play with them gently. She would be an amazing cat for a family with little ones.

Currently in foster care in Anaheim. Foster-to-adopt is always an available option and recommendation.

Please note, will only be adopted to a home with other animals or with another cat/kitten.

All Del Gato kitties are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, tested for FIV/FeLv, dewormed, and flea treated prior to adoption.

To begin the application process, please fill out our application here: https://form.jotform.com/212117959297062

We will try our best to be in touch within 24-48 hours.

Thank you!
____________________
Del Gato Rescue is a small 501(c)(3) nonprofit cat rescue based in Los Angeles, CA. We are a handful of volunteers who work normal jobs by day and rescue cats on nights & weekends. We receive countless daily requests from the community for assistance with cats and kittens found outside in need of rescue.

We focus on rescuing friendly cats from the streets, getting them healthy and vetted in foster care, and finding their purrrfect forever home! We prevent hundreds of cats per year from entering our city shelters and being euthanized.

We also TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) and vaccinate unadoptable/feral street cats, which we believe is the only solution to the root cause of the feline population crisis.

When space allows, we also pull death-row cats from local high kill shelters, work with them in foster care, get them up to date on their healthcare, and match them with their new forever family.

If you'd like to volunteer with us, fostering is a great way to help our cause, and it allows us space to save more kitties off the streets.
If you are unable to foster, we are also always looking for help with transportation to and from vet appointments.
Please send us an email at delgatorescue@gmail.com to be a part of our rescue community. Thanks for your support!
