Gretel's Story

Update: Hansel and Gretel are now in our adoption room. Hansel is becoming very relaxed. Gretel is still getting used to being around many other cats as well as many other people coming in to see her. But she is dealing with it, especially with the help of her brother there keeping her grounded and ensuring her all is good. They are going to make someone a great pair of kitties. And they are beautiful!!!

Gretel and Hansel truly need to be adopted together so that they can adjust to a new home together and show the adopters the love of two kitties who will be so grateful to be still together and cared for. They are with a foster now who is getting them more and more friendly each day, but they are so ready to have their forever home. One where they won't have to make anymore changes in their short life.

From the Foster:
Both will greet me at the window when I come home and meow at me through my the door until I come check on them. They'll need a quite home with no young children. They do get along with other cats. They'll take a while to warm up to new people, they hid from my pet sitter when she cat sat for me this week. Both are super playful, they like crinkle and bell balls. A streamer wand is their all time favorite! I really do think they'd do best adopted together.

Gretel
* Lap cat, she'll sit with me or snuggle under the blanket when I read or scroll.
* Loves a sunny nap spot
* Very timid but an absolute love bug when you've gained her trust
