Granite's Story

Meet Granite!

Granite is a handsome 3-year-old gray and white gentleman with the sweetest face — complete with an adorable little gray spot on his nose that makes him even more irresistible. Rescued as a stray and brought to Ninth Life Rescue Center, Granite is now ready to leave his difficult past behind and find the loving forever home he deserves.

This affectionate boy has never met a stranger. Granite gets along wonderfully with everyone he meets and absolutely loves attention. One of his favorite things is being brushed, soaking up every bit of love and care while purring contentedly beside you. He’s the kind of cat who will happily keep you company and remind you every day how grateful he is to be safe and loved.

Granite is FIV positive, likely from his time surviving outdoors. But don’t let that scare you away from this amazing cat. FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) is only spread through deep bite wounds — not through casual contact, grooming, sharing food bowls, or living together peacefully. Cats with FIV can safely live with non-FIV cats in stable homes. While FIV can affect the immune system, with proper care, regular vet visits, and good nutrition, Granite can live a long, happy, and wonderful life.

More than anything, Granite dreams of a safe, comfortable home where he’ll never have to fend for himself again. He’s ready for soft beds, gentle hands, full bowls, and a family who will love him exactly as he is. Will you take a chance on this sweet boy and give him the forever home he’s been waiting for?
Here's a direct link to our cat application— https://airtable.com/shrGSvgMTS3wUQn2H
