Gracie Mae's Story

Hi there... my name is Gracie Mae, and I'm a beautiful grey tabby with soft stripes and an even softer heart. I'm hoping you might be the human I've been waiting for.
I didn't always live indoors. I came here through a TNR partner who helped make sure I'd be safe and cared for. Life outside had its adventures, but I've decided I'd much rather trade alleyways for cozy couches and warm laps. I think that sounds like a pretty good deal, don't you?
One thing you should know about me: I like to chat. Not all the time-but I do enjoy telling my humans about my day. I'll give you a sweet little meow to say hello, or to remind you it might be dinner time (which, by the way, is one of my favorite times of day). I have a very good appetite and never miss a meal.
Even though I can be a talker, I also have a calm, peaceful side. Sometimes I just like to sit nearby-or better yet, settle into your lap-and keep you company while you read, watch TV, or work. I'm very good at being a gentle little shadow.
When it's playtime, though-oh! That's when my inner hunter comes out. My absolute favorite toy is the laser pointer. I'll chase that mysterious red dot like it's the most important mission in the world.
Shelters can be a bit noisy for a girl like me. All those sounds make me wish for a peaceful home where I can really relax and show you my sweetest self. I'm friendly and affectionate, but I might be happiest as your one and only kitty so I can have all your attention.
If you're looking for a playful companion, a sweet conversationalist, and a gentle little friend who will love you with her whole heart... I think we might be perfect for each other.
Love,
Gracie Mae
