Goose (must adopt with Junior)'s Story

Goose and Junior are a pair of playful, sweet-natured kittens looking for a quiet home where they can continue building confidence together.

Goose was found on a farm at less than one pound, following a mama goose and her babies after predators claimed his litter. Alone and battling a severe eye infection that ultimately required the removal of one eye, Goose clearly knew he needed a family. Today, despite being mostly blind, he's a happy, adventurous kitten who loves to play and wrestle with his best friend.

Junior came to rescue with his mom, Lollipop, when he was just days old. As the sole survivor of his litter, he's a resilient little guy with a gentle heart and a playful spirit.

These boys are becoming the best of friends and are starting to enjoy pets and snuggles, but will need patient adopters who understand that affection takes time. Once they're comfortable, their fun-loving personalities shine. They are looking for a calm home with no young children. They may also do well with friendly pets after a proper introduction. If you're looking for two resilient little survivors with an incredible bond and lots of love to give, Goose and Junior are waiting to meet you.

To apply for adoption, please complete our online application: https://www.jotform.com/mobykitrescue/adoption-application.

If you have already submitted an Adoption Application online and would like to be considered for Junior, please let us know at MobyKitRescue@gmail.com.

If your application is selected and approved, you will be contacted and put in touch with their foster family for a meet and greet.

If you submit an application and do not hear back, don't worry! Your application will still be kept on file in case and can be used for other cats that become adoptable.

The adoption fee is $550 for both cats and includes the following: spay/neuter surgery, age-appropriate vaccines, deworming, microchip, FeLV & FIV testing, deflea and vet examination.

Moby Kit Rescue's Adoption Policy
All interested individuals MUST complete an application to be considered for adoption. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, however it is strongly encouraged to only submit an application once you are interested in a specific cat(s) that we have advertised as adoptable. Cats are not adopted out on a first-come, first-serve process. Instead, we focus on the best fit for each individual cat and their adoptive families. This process is intended to ensure a long-term successful adoption for both the family and pet. As a small, all-volunteer rescue, we do not have the bandwidth to process all applications that come in. The applications are kept on file, however they are not processed until a compatible cat is matched and then put on hold for you. If your application is selected for a particular cat, we will reach out by email to confirm. Occasionally we will reach out with other options that are also a good fit for your home and family. Please note that we receive a high volume of applications - particularly for kittens - and do not have a cat for every applicant.
