Adoption Policy
All interested individuals MUST complete an application to be considered for adoption. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, however it is strongly encouraged to only submit an application once you are interested in a specific cat(s) that we have advertised as adoptable.
Cats are not adopted out on a first-come, first-serve process. Instead, we focus on the best fit for each individual cat and their adoptive families. This process is intended to ensure a long-term successful adoption for both the family and pet.
As a small, all-volunteer rescue, we do not have the bandwidth to process all applications that come in. The applications are kept on file, however they are not processed until a compatible cat is matched and then put on hold for you. If your application is selected for a particular cat, we will reach out by email to confirm. Occasionally we will reach out with other options that are also a good fit for your home and family. Please note that we receive a high volume of applications - particularly for kittens - and do not have a cat for every applicant.
