Gertrude's Story

Meet Gertrude, a sweet and affectionate girl with a heart as big as her purr. She loves attention, enjoys being around people, and is always happy to soak up pets and cuddles.

Gertrude recently had a spa day of sorts and was shaved due to severe matting, so her coat may look a little different right now. Don't worry—her beautiful fur will grow back with a little time, love, and regular grooming.

Gertrude also tested positive for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus). Cats with FIV can live long, happy, healthy lives with routine veterinary care and an indoor lifestyle. FIV is primarily spread through deep bite wounds, so many FIV-positive cats can safely live with other friendly, non-aggressive cats.

If you're looking for a gentle, loving companion who will reward your kindness with endless affection, Gertrude is ready to steal your heart.
