Gertrude's Story

Mama Gertie is a young mama who is finally getting the chance to just be a kitten herself. Now that she has safely raised her babies and learned to trust people, her sweet personality is beginning to shine. She has become quite talkative, loves getting pets, and is even starting to discover how nice snuggles can be - we think she'll be a cuddle bug before long!<br/><br/>Gertie would do best in a quiet, patient home where she can continue building confidence at her own pace. She can still be easily startled and will need slow introductions to other calm, gentle animals. A consistent routine will help her feel safe and secure, especially since she still worries about having enough food.<br/><br/>She would absolutely love to be adopted with her "mini me," as the two are wonderful playmates and companions.
