Genevieve came into rescue at just two weeks old after she and her sister, Greta, were placed on a euthanasia list at a local shelter as they were too young to survive overnight. Thankfully, our rescue was able to get them to safety and they've been thriving ever since.<br/><br/>Genevieve is full of charm and mischief with her big, striking blue eyes (we cant promise they'll stay, but they're extra special right now), This high energy kitten loves to run, play, and tumble with her foster siblings, and she's just as friendly and outgoing with people. Without a feline playmate, they may develop behavioral issues such as:<br/><br/> Aggression or anxiety<br/> Inappropriate chewing or scratching<br/> Litter box avoidance<br/> Difficulty adjusting to new pets or children later in life<br/><br/>While not all single kittens experience these challenges, its a common reason cats are rehomed later. The best way to prevent SKS is to adopt kittens in pairs or ensure there's already a playful, compatible cat in the home.
