Gamila - super friendly and loving

She was thrown in front of a building in Cairo where she hid inside for days. Residents fed her and gave her water. <br/><br/>Being a house cat this was terrifying for her. Eventually she gave birth to 4 kittens. <br/>She fed them and took care of them but slowly and slowly she started getting very weak. When the kittens were old enough to eat, she started going outside and hiding inside a bush right outside the door of the building. <br/>A caring neighbor noticed her transformation and called a local rescue organization called Friends of Zamalek who took her to their clinic over two months ago. Since then, Gamila has been nursed back to health.<br/><br/>Her rescuers are reluctant to return her to the streets if it can be avoided by finding her a home. Already she has been vaccinated, spayed, microchipped, dewormed and treated with an antiflea preventative. She has meanwhile been prepared for adoption in case and efforts are being made to locate a loving home for her. She is such a sweetheart and truly deserves a family if at all possible.
