Gal & Gat's Story
Meet Mama Gat and her daughter Gal, a pair of stunning tabby ladies who are so ready to find their forever home together! At 8 and 9 years old, they’ve been through a lot, but their deep bond shows how much they love each other. They are often found with tails entwined, snuggling together.

Mama Gat is a warm brown tabby with the ticked coat of an Abyssinian. She’s an affectionate lady, brushing against your legs or giving gentle nudges to show her love. Once she gets to know you, she’s all about trading purrs for pets, a perfect Sidecar Cat. She enjoys the quiet companionship of being close to her people, even if she isn’t a full-time lap cat.

Gal, her silver tabby daughter with huge green eyes, has an independent spirit but loves being near her humans. She’s happiest sunbathing in windows, observing the world around her, and leaning in for neck scritches when she feels safe. She will be right there with her mama, snuggling next to you.

They love pipe cleaners and kitty wands, especially feathered ones and will leap and chase like any little whippersnapper if given enough space. They also really enjoy laser dot play, especially if they get a nice protein treat at the end!

Both cats have blossomed into loving little ladies who will be your best little Kitty Admins, following you around and basking in your presence. They will love soaking up all the pets you can give, once they’re settled in.

They may do OK with another cat-friendly cat, but will thrive in a peaceful, dog-free home without small children, where they can acclimate at their own pace and continue to blossom.

If you’re looking for a pair of loving, steady companions who will fill your home with quiet joy, Mama Gat and Gal are ready to meet you.

They are the best of friends, so they can be adopted together for $180. That includes their spays, microchips, vaccinations, a food & litter starter kit each plus a free well-kitty checkup with one of their wonderful partner vets each.

You can tap here to fill out an Adoption Application: https://
happycatshaven.org/adoption-application/ and someone should
get back to you during our adoption hours Wednesday –
Sunday by 5 pm to set up a visit. If you need to contact
someone more quickly, please call 719-362-4600 and we’ll do
our best to get back to you within 48 hours. I/We can't wait to
meet you!
