From Street life to sofa life-Sandy is ready to come home.'s Story

Sandys story began on the streets of Newport, where it quickly became clear that she hadn't always been on her own. Friendly, trusting, and eager for connection, she greeted her rescuers with confidence, proof that she once knew the comfort of a loving home. Today, she's ready to find that comfort again.

This beautiful long-haired black and grey tabby turns heads with her striking markings and uniquely expressive face. She has raised a litter of kittens, each as stunning as she is, and now that she's been spayed, Sandy is settling into a calmer, happier chapter of her life.

Sandy thrives in a peaceful environment and would do best in a home with only a few, or no, other cats. The hustle and bustle of a busy kitty household just isn't her style. While she tolerates dogs, she prefers to keep a respectful distance after all, she seems quite certain that close friendships with dogs may not align with the official cat code of conduct.

What Sandy truly loves is her people. She's a devoted companion who will happily curl up beside you at night or relax next to you on the couch. With the right home, she may even blossom into a full-fledged lap cat especially if she doesn't have to compete for your attention. She's affectionate, attentive, and delightfully sweet, with just the right touch of playful energy. Every now and then, shell surprise you with a burst of zoomies, reminding you there's still a playful spark beneath that calm exterior.

Sandy is spayed, up to date on her vaccinations, and microchipped. Having left her days as a street cat behind, she's looking for a safe, indoor-only home where she can truly settle in and be cherished.

If you are interested in meeting Sandy, click the inquire button to be connected with a member of PURR.
