Meet FREYA DEAR
FREYA DEAR was pulled from NYC ACC's At Risk list in February 2021. She is a beautiful, sweet dilute calico two years old. FREYA is FeLV/FIV tested negative, spayed and current in vaccinations.
FREYA was adopted in early 2021 and returned 18 months later missing a leg. Her first adopter provided records that showed Freya had a freak accident at home that resulted in a fracture in such a way that the surgeons at Animal Medical Center could not set it. So the poor dear had her leg amputated. However, Freya's recovery from this episode which occurred in January 2022 is complete. The attached video shows that she is not aware of any disability as she runs around the apartment on 3 legs.
As such, Freya is ready again for adoption. Freya's foster mom writes that Freya is very smart and loves people!
While we are eager to hear from all prospective adopters, we request that interested parties complete our application form prior to our arranging a meet-and-greet at the home of the foster parent.
Adopters agree to an adoption fee and a home visit.
