Freedom's Story

🖤 Meet Freedom — The Little Panther Who Survived the Unthinkable
Freedom’s story begins in heartbreak, but she is living proof that gentle souls can rise from the hardest places.

She was one of many cats left behind when her humans were evicted — abandoned in a house with no food, no water, and no way out for eight long days. When our volunteer finally reached her, Freedom was scared, hungry, and unsure if anyone would ever come. But she held on. And the moment she was rescued, she leaned into kindness like she had been waiting her whole life for it.

💗 A Tender Heart
Freedom is a timid girl at first, the kind who watches quietly until she knows she’s safe. But once she trusts you, she melts — truly melts — into the sweetest little panther you’ve ever met.
She LOVES her belly and back rubbed, stretching out with total faith and soaking up every bit of affection. She plays with toys, enjoys soft voices, and has a gentle, grateful energy that makes you want to wrap her in love forever.

🐾 Other Cats
Freedom would do beautifully with another calm, respectful kitty. After everything she’s been through, she thrives in peaceful company.

🩺 Health
Spayed, Microchipped, tested negative, and current on vaccinations. Freedom is about 3 years old but has the face of a kitten.

🏡 The Home She Deserves
Freedom has survived what no animal should ever endure — and she did it with quiet strength and a heart still open to love. She deserves a home where she will never be forgotten again. A home where she can finally exhale, stretch out her sleek black panther body, and know she is safe for the rest of her life.

If you’re ready to give a gentle survivor the soft landing she’s been waiting for, Freedom will give you her whole heart in return.

Online adoption applications are available at forgotten4paws.org.

Forgotten 4 Paws's Adoption Policy
Matching responsible pet guardians with Forgotten 4-Paws' cats is our primary goal. We carefully interview potential adopters because we want to make sure the right match is made! Our Forgotten 4-Paws 'interviewers' do a great job of matchmaking. We work hard to fit your adoption criteria with the pets we have up for adoption. We want the adoption to be successful for both you and the cat or dog! Too often pets end up in shelters because they were never a good match for their homes in the first place. At Forgotten 4-Paws, we look for people who intend to provide a home for the life of the pet and understand what that requires. ADOPTION PROCESS Start by completing an application. Online adoption applications are available at www.Forgotten4Paws.org. Please email any questions contactusforgotten4paws@yahoo.com. Please note that submitting an application does not guarantee that a cat or kitten will be placed with you. Once you submit your application, a Forgotten 4-Paws volunteer will contact you for an interview and to talk about the specific pet(s) you expressed interest in. After the interview process, we will set up a time for you to meet the cat / kitten to make sure a successful match has been made. Typically, this will be at your home. If approved, the volunteer will make arrangements for your new feline to join your family. The adoption fees are $100 for one cat/kitten or $175 for two cats/kittens.
