Freddy is a gentle, refined six-year-old sweetheart looking for a patient, loving furever home to cherish him!

This adorably serious-faced kitty is a medium to low energy cat who relishes sunbeams and high resting spots to survey his domain and take in quality cat television. He devotes a good portion of his day and early evening to catching up on beauty sleep but does enjoy the companionship of his hoomans. He would be a lovely companion for homebodies and couch potatoes :)

Freddy has a sweet, quietly affectionate nature. He enjoys pets on the head and scritches and is also discovering the joy of play. Wand toys are particularly tempting!

When it comes to food, Freddy is a pretty cheap date, preferring dry food to wet food. He eats well and uses the litter box perfectly.

This gentle soul's ideal home would be a calm, quiet, loving environment. He will thrive in a home that has familiar routines. He is not overly energetic so doesn't need a ton of room, but he does enjoy quality cat tv, so sunny windows and a perch to survey the world outside are big plusses. Freddy would do best with a family versed in cat body language who will commit to honor his cues.

Freddy does well with other cats that are equally gentle and calm. He would also do well as a solo kitty in a home where he would receive dedicated attention. He hasn’t met any dogs or children, but he would likely do well with respectful, cat-savvy dogs who give him space and older (10+) children who have experience with cats.

Freddy has had some dental work done, and his forever family should be prepared for the possibility of future dental care. This dignified dude is, furthermore, not a fan of carriers, so he will need to be sedated (gabapentin in his food) for vet visits.
