Franklin's Story

Franklin (6 years old; special needs; bonded with Spirit)

Franklin is an obese gray cat with green eyes. He is a sweet and affectionate cat but quite shy about being petted and touched. Right now he is a nervous about being in the shelter, but he is doing well because of his resilient personality and his closest, bonded (and larger) friend Spirit. The two of them came into the shelter together and have remained glued to each other’s sides ever since. Franklin needs a special, experienced adopter who will take him and his buddy Spirit together and help them maintain and even lose weight under a veterinarian-guided weight-loss plan. So, if you are the type who doesn’t think fat cats are “cute” but wishes to help them live long, happy, healthy, and comfortable lives, these two friendly kitties might be just what you’ve been missing. They would do best in a calm, quieter home with no other animals so that you can focus exclusively on them and their needs.

OK with Dogs
: Unknown
OK with Cats
: Unknown
OK with Kids
: Unknown
