FRANKIE - sweetest baby!

Meet FRANKIE!<br/><br/>Frankie is a gentle and sweet little guy who is looking for his forever family!<br/><br/>He is about 10-11 months old and between 6-9 lbs. as of mid-April 2026.<br/><br/>Frankie was born as a stray in Puerto Rico and has been looked after and medically cared for by a wonderful and trusted independent rescuer that we work with, Nicole! Nicole feeds Frankie twice a day and he pretty much just hangs around her house, lazing on her patio and taking occasional excursions. Due to Nicole reaching her landlord's capacity for the number of animals she can have in her apartment, Frankie unfortunately must remain outside for now; however, we know he would make an absolutely wonderful house cat given his sweet and gentle personality!<br/><br/>Frankie has blossomed under Nicole's care! He is sweet and gentle. He can be a little shy at first (simply reserved) but we know he loves human attention and is very loving! He loves to have his head scratched!<br/><br/>He loves his food and likes getting his back scratched while eating it. When his food is being prepared, he will walk around you and rub his body on you, meowing in excitement! He is one of those cats that grows quickly on you. He might seem to be a "back of the class" kind of guy at first but when you get to know him, you will LOVE him! He's very affectionate.<br/><br/>Frankie's "street name" (haha) is Flaquito (which means "skinny" in Spanish) because his gentle and reserved personality often prevented him from being the first at the dinner table...and thus kept his waistline slim! In the beginning, he was too shy to approach the feeding area with the other cats around and would often eat whatever his other kitty friends couldn't finish. Now, his confidence has improved and he eats alongside the others happily and has reached a perfect weight. Flaquito no more!<br/><br/>Frankie allows handling and being picked up without issue.<br/><br/>He has been vaccinated and neutered and will go to the vet once more for his last checkups and a grooming before flying to his forever family. <br/><br/>We think he would be good with dogs as well. He is gentle!<br/><br/>PLEASE NOTE: Frankie is currently in Puerto Rico and will fly to his forever home once adopted. Adoption fees listed here ($275) cover all transport related costs to the States. There are NO other fees. :)<br/><br/>We can arrange transport to many places throughout the U.S., although we focus our adoptions on the East Coast with a focus on the NYC/Maryland/Virginia area and NYC.<br/><br/>Questions for us?
