Frankie's Story

Frankie is exceptionally gentle and affectionate. and we have never heard a hiss or growl. He is a purr-bug and will jump in your lap to get his belly rubbed. We believe his owner died and someone abandoned him. He had lots of love and attention, but the next thing he knew, he was living outdoors. He is very nervous around other cats and is always on his guard. We originally stated that he might like to be the only cat in the home but he is gradually getting along much better with some of the other cats. He favors a couple of our senior cats, especially
Tommy Tom-Tom and seems more relaxed being amongst several cats.

Frankie is approx. 4-5 years old, neutered, fully vaccinated, FELV negative, microchipped, and free of ear mites, fleas, and ticks. He has tested positive for FIV which means he just has a little lower immune system than normal. These cats can live for as long as any other cat and we have experienced FIV cats o be exceptionally sweet.

He has used the litter box since Day 1, and is not a picky eater of both wet and dry food. Frankie begs to be held, which is so unusual for a cat. He would make a wonderful addition to any family that can give him the love and attention that he so deserves. We also believe that he would be wonderful with children.

Please contact Communities Altering The Strays for more information. 908-453-0082
