Florie 55306's Story
Meet Florie - a joyful, silly, endlessly lovable kitty who truly lives life to the fullest. From the moment she wakes up, she's ready to play, tumble, chase her friends, and make everyone around her smile. She absolutely adores people, thrives around other animals, and would love a home with a furry companion or two to wrestle and zoom around with. Friendly and outgoing, Florie is the kind of cat who fits herself right into the heart of a home almost immediately.

She's also earned the affectionate nickname "The Shredder." Give this girl a cardboard box and she becomes an artist. She loves sitting inside boxes, happily chewing and shredding away, leaving tiny cardboard confetti masterpieces scattered across the floor. It's one of her favorite hobbies, it's impossible not to laugh watching how delighted she is by it.

Florie's journey hasn't been entirely easy. As a kitten, she began having seizures and was ultimately treated for FIP. She's done incredibly well, but she does still take a twice-daily seizure medication to keep her feeling her best. And here's the important part: she takes her pills amazingly well. Her medication routine takes only a minute, and she handles it like an absolute pro. In every other way, Florie is just a normal, happy, playful young cat who wants love, fun, and a family of her own.

We know medical needs can sometimes make adopters hesitate, but Florie is the kind of cat who reminds you that that a little extra effort is worth it. Her joy is contagious. Her personality is enormous. And whoever brings her home is going to get a truly special companion in return.

This kitty is being adopted with a known and disclosed medical concern.
Has history of seizure activity when not on phenobarbital. Was treated for FIP.
