Flora is new to SPIN and living in a condo with Cora (also up for adoption). Flora, a stray cat rescued from a large outdoor cat colony, is quite stressed right now, and the SPIN volunteers are working their magic to build her trust of humans. Flora is a gorgeous medium-haired, dilute calico (the "fluffy" one according to the volunteers, contrasted to the "smooth" one when referring to Cora), whose good looks alone will get her quite a bit of attention. <br/><br/>Time, affection, and yummy food are the keys to winning over stray cats. If you have never had the opportunity before, there are few things as satisfying to the human soul as gaining the trust of a timid animal. It is definitely not for everyone though, and the timeline is always going to be on the animal's terms. But just maybe, you might be the type who thinks it would be interesting to give a try... The hardest part is providing proof that you either own your home or that your landlord approves you having a cat, other than that it is easy!
