Fire is a 7 month old neutered male. He is current on his vaccinations and microchipped!

Fire is a very shy but adorable little guy who is ready and waiting to find a loving forever home where he can continue to flourish and work on his love for humans. He initially came into the shelter as a very scared and under socialized kitten who has spent some time in a loving foster home where he has started to really come out of his shell. He may take some time to adjust in a new home and may be a bit nervous at first so he would do best in a calmer and quieter home with a cat savvy family who is able to understand his timid personality. Once he is comfortable though, he is just like any other kitten who has lots of energy and loves to play nonstop.

Fire is much more relaxed and confident when he has another feline friend by his side to help show him the ropes. So, he is required to go to a home with another kitty. Since he is a shy man, he does startle easily from loud noises and fast movements so he is looking for a family with older respectful children at least 10 years of age or older who won't chase or scare him. He hasn't been around dogs before but may do ok with a smaller, calm doggo given very slow introductions to one another and given he has his own 'safe space' to retreat to should he feel the need to.
