Fir

Meet Fir, a 4-month-old, 4-lb tuxedo domestic shorthair who looks like he got dressed up for the occasion!

Fir has classic black-and-white markings, an irresistible little pink nose, and four perfect white mittens on his paws. He is a high-energy, curious little guy who loves to investigate everything around him. He is always up for a play session with a wand toy, but he is also perfectly capable of entertaining himself when his humans are busy.

When playtime winds down, another one of Fir's talents emerges: he is a master biscuit maker. Those four white mittens are apparently not just decorative. Fir is litter-box trained and does well with other cats, making him an easy little companion to welcome into a home. He is still very much a kitten, with wonderfully oversized ears, bright curious eyes, and a lot of personality packed into a small tuxedo.

Fir is ready for a forever home with guardians who will enjoy his playful energy, his curiosity, and plenty of freshly made biscuits. Fir is currently being fostered in Brooklyn, NY and his adoption fee is $225.

"Kittens are only adopted in pairs or to homes with other friendly, social pets. All adults are combo tested; for some litters of kittens who have not been exposed to other cats, only one kitten in the litter may be tested. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services and helps us continue rescuing animals.

For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the pet you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible.

We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal."
