Fig Newton

Fig Newton was found late one night on the edge of a construction site in Davidson, lost, scared, and hungry. He was badly injured, with fresh wounds from being attacked by another cat or animals. It was clear Fig had been somebody's pet who was either lost or had been dumped, and he didn’t know where to go or what to do.<br/><br/>When his rescuer spotted him at the construction site, he ran over to her car, so excited to see a friend. She had no choice but to get out of the car to make sure he wasn’t under her tires. As soon as she opened the door, Fig Newton started purring, and rubbing up on her and headbutting, so excited that somebody had found him. <br/><br/>Since then, Fig Newton’s little spirit has continued to shine. He is so friendly and social that during his visit to the vet, vet techs kept popping their heads in to see the super sweet kitty they'd heard about. He greeted them the same as he did the night he was rescued. Fig is just a little lovebug.
