Fia C10998's Story

Fia is a sweet, affectionate little girl who has discovered that there's nothing better than being close to the people she loves. One of her favorite things is seeking out her foster mom or foster brother, curling up beside them, and simply enjoying their company. She happily accepts pets, enjoys being picked up and held, and has recently decided that kisses are pretty wonderful-so wonderful, in fact, that she'll often reward you with gentle little face licks of her own.

Like any kitten, Fia has plenty of playful energy. She loves chasing toys, pouncing on unsuspecting tails (whether they belong to a sibling, the resident cat, or even the dog), and hiding behind furniture before launching into an adorable surprise attack. She also has a funny little strut that makes her look like she knows she's the queen of the house. When playtime is over, she's happiest snuggled up beside her favorite people or curled up with the resident cat, Zero, who has been her best friend from the very beginning.

Fia has come such a long way since arriving in foster care. At first, she wasn't interested in being touched and preferred to keep her distance from people. Now she's blossomed into a loving, cuddly kitten who actively seeks out affection from the people she trusts. She gets along well with the other cats, the dog, and her foster family.

She can still be a little shy when meeting new people and may need a bit of time to settle into a new home, but once she feels safe, her gentle, loving personality truly shines. She's the kind of kitten who forms deep bonds with her people, and earning her trust is incredibly rewarding.

Sweet, playful, and full of quiet affection, Fia is ready to find a patient family who will cherish her for the wonderful little companion she's become.
----
Want to adopt a kitten? We highly recommend you consider bringing home two instead of one! Adopting kittens in pairs has been proven to be beneficial for cats' emotional and behavioral well-being and greatly improves the likelihood of long-term adopter happiness as a result. Adopting more than one kitten also reduces the risk of "Single Kitten Syndrome" (also known as Tarzan Syndrome), a symptom of under-socialization during a kitten's most formative weeks. Kittens who are under-socialized may develop aggressive tendencies toward both other animals and humans as they grow, creating lifelong behavioral issues for owners.
