Felix (update 11-9-2025)<br/><br/><br/>Want a genuinely needy lap cat? Meet Felix! <br/><br/>Felix is a three-year-old black Siberian. <br/><br/>Felix is a a super sweet and loving boy. He must go to a home where someone has a lap for him as he is a genuine lap cat. He sits in your lap, he rubs his face on your face, and he loves to follow you everywhere and watch what you’re doing. <br/><br/>His favorite thing is watching TV with you. <br/><br/>You must be willing to let him sleep in the bed with you as well as he is a cuddle kitty. He sleeps on the pillow with you. <br/><br/>He gets along very well with other cats and would do well in a home with other cats or he would be fine as an only cat. We do not know how he would do with dogs or children. <br/><br/>He does have chronic sinusitis and is on 1/2 Zyrtec a day to keep his symptoms under control. <br/><br/>If you are interested in adopting him, please email us at merlinshoperagdollrescue@gmail.com for an application. <br/><br/>He is in a foster home in ENNIS, Texas. We will not adopt outside of those states. Who We Are: We are a private rescue and privately funded. WE ARE NOT A SHELTER, BUT A RESCUE. A rescue is a PRIVATE HOME and not a public place to visit. Adopters must make appointments prior to visiting foster homes. All of our cats are spayed/neutered, FIV/FELV tested, wormed, de-fleaed, and vaccinated prior to adoption.<br/><br/>All cats are considered mixed breeds unless otherwise stated. As a rescue, we often don’t know a cat’s origins, and do our best to guesstimate their breed. This is not a guarantee. We do get purebreds from time to time and that will be stated in their description if known.<br/><br/>Adoption Process: We require all potential adopters to fill out an adoption application prior to setting up an appointment to visit with the cat(s). We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. If you email us, we will provide you with an application via email.
