Meet Evie
This sweet and stunning girl was found rooting through garbage in search of food in late October 2023, and she appeared in her now foster mom’s window, flirting with her five resident cats. Taken in by this kind resident and brought immediately into rescue, Evie was spayed in early November and an umbilical hernia repaired. She was born around October 2022, tested negative, and is now up to date on all vet care and shots, and microchipped. Initially shy with people she doesn’t know, Evie is coming around beautifully with love and patience. She loves other cats (especially boys!), and she’s affectionate with them and playful, pulling ALL the toys out of the toy basket. She enjoys windows, beds, a toasty radiator, and curling up on a cat tree. Evie is food-motivated and she is fast, but has not made a move for the door—she seems to be very much aware that she is best off indoors with her friends. While she is not a fan of being picked up and has not quite discovered laps yet, she’s working on that and is happy for pets and cuddles and being close to her humans. She recently started nibbling her foster mom’s toes in bed to remind her it’s breakfast time. Evie has it all—beauty, brains, and personality! She shows every sign that she will prove to be a wonderful pet for her lucky adopter. Could that be you? Apply today!
