Emmie is a sweet, cocoa-colored girl who wants nothing more than to be your devoted cuddle buddy. Affectionate, gentle, and endlessly loving, she thrives on attention and human connection. If you’re looking for a cat who loves to be held and stay close, Emmie will happily curl up in your arms or settle right beside you.<br/><br/>She has a warm, friendly personality and makes everyone feel special, seeking out their attention. <br/><br/>She's used to a multi-cat environment and but we think she would be very comfortable as a solo cat as well. She gets along with other cats, but would be best paired with cats that will respect her boundaries and have a similar energy level/age. For example, she wouldn't pair well with a high energy kitten that wants to play with her, but she does very well with calmer, respectful cats. <br/><br/>Emmie’s story is one of resilience. When she was found, she was severely underweight, missing fur, and in need of care but from the very beginning, she showed nothing but love. She walked right into her carrier, ready for a new life, and has been affectionate ever since. With proper care, she regained her health beautifully and is now thriving. Initially thought to be older due to her condition, she’s now estimated to be around 5 years old.<br/><br/>She is up to date on vaccinations and has fully recovered from minor, treatable conditions she had upon rescue.<br/><br/>Emmie is truly a special cat who just wants a home where she can give and receive love every day. Whoever adopts her will be very lucky to have such a devoted companion.
