Our Mission
Rocky’s Refuge, Inc. is dedicated to rescuing cats who have been abused, neglected, abandoned, or left to survive on their own. We provide a safe, nurturing environment where each cat receives the medical care, socialization, and rehabilitation needed to heal and prepare for a loving, permanent home whenever possible.
We are equally committed to addressing the growing environmental and public health challenges posed by feral cat populations. Through community education and responsible, humane practices, we work to trap, spay/neuter, and return feral cats to their outdoor homes, helping to reduce overpopulation and improve overall feline welfare.
Adoption Policy
Our adoption policies are designed to ensure that every cat is placed into a safe, stable, and loving home. We require a veterinary reference as well as personal references, ideally two from individuals who are not related to the adopter, to help us understand an adopter’s history of responsible pet care. When applicable, we also require proof of landlord permission to confirm that pets are allowed in the residence. These steps help us make thoughtful and well informed placements that support the long term well being of each cat.
