Meet Emmet and Will (bonded pair) - Pending Adoption

Emmet and Will are a bonded pair of approximately 1-year-old boys who are looking for their forever home! Emmet is a curious guy in need of a human playmate. Will is a shy guy who just wants to be loved.

These handsome dudes are buddies who wrestle, chase, and keep each other company. They occasionally cuddle and bathe each other, too!

Emmet is a curious kitty itching to play, chase, and explore. He has a flute-like meow and loves to investigate what his humans are up to. He is sociable, energetic, appreciates a good pet, and loves to be in the center of the action. Will is a shy lover who will ask nicely for a pet but who also enjoys chilling out by himself. His meow is an adorable chirp that makes him irresistible!

Occasionally, Will gets in a boxing match with inanimate objects, but will start to relax once he's surveyed his surroundings to his liking. His only true enemy is the vacuum. Both kitties are gentle and sweet and will always greet you in the morning and when you come home.

Emmet absolutely loves playing with his wand toys and chasing anything really! He simply cannot play enough. Will likes to find a comfy spot to settle where he can watch the goings on of the house from a nice vantage point. They are both happy and healthy, although Emmet is vulnerable to bacterial infection/upper respiratory symptoms (possibly due to herpes), but the vet has cleared them both for adoption.

These guys fill their days with a variety of feline pursuits. Will occasionally takes up his “guard post” by the front door, so rest assured your home will be safe! Both kitties love to watch the birds through the window while sitting in a sunspot or snuggle up together to take a bath or nap.

These handsome fellows get fed roughly 2x a day, in the morning and at night (usually one of their meals is soft food as a hydrating treat)! They love to nap in the mornings and afternoons and typically become more energized at night, when they zoom around chasing each other or wrestling.

Emmet seeks more attention and gets great exercise playing with his wand toys. Will plays occasionally, but usually lets Emmet do all the hard work of chasing toys and chimes in every so often during playtime.

Emmet and Will currently live in an apartment with a single person. They have grown familiar with other humans that frequent the apartment and want pets from them, too! Emmet loves to greet strangers, while it takes Will longer to warm up to anything and anyone he doesn't know.

They could potentially do well with other cats and gentle kids but would likely be too scared of dogs to cohabitate—they are cautious at first, so would take a long time to warm up if they were around dogs or in a chaotic home. Will especially is a bit of a reserved boy and would need a slow and gentle introduction to new friends and family members. As a foster, I have not introduced them to dogs or kids but can only conjecture.

These sweet boys would be best adopted by humans who love to bring out the wand toys and play with Emmet, yet who can also move slowly and patiently to give Will the space and gentle pets he needs to feel safe.

Both cats have made incredible strides in learning how to be housecats while living with their foster human! They are the sweetest boys who may take slightly longer to become fully comfortable in their new home, but who will make loving house pets and companions for any cat-lover looking for new friends! Could that be you?

There is no guarantee of age and breed as a rescue animal's history is unknown. All ages and breeds are best estimate. Adoption fees include a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%. All cats have received comprehensive veterinary care and tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV unless otherwise stated.

Cats are up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed/neutered, treated for fleas and/or ear mites, de-wormed, and microchipped. Please note there may be additional follow up visits and boosters that are not covered by Pet Haven after adoption. Interested in adopting or learning more about this cat?
