Ember's Story

Ember
Female
DSH Black Tabby
DOB: 6/14/2026

Ember is a sweet and playful black tabby girl who will run right up to greet you, and once she's in your lap she purrs like it's her job. She's petite, playful, and loves to jump for a feather wand. Her tabby markings are subtle in photos but stunning in person. Affectionate, social, litter trained, and easy to fall for, Ember would be a great fit for any home.

Medical: All cats are spayed/neutered, current on age appropriate vaccines (rabies and distemper), microchipped, given flea/tick prevention and dewormer, FIV/FeLV tested, and any other veterinary care that is needed prior to adoption.

If you are interested in adopting, fill out an application online at www.figandfriendspetrescue.org/adopt

Fig and Friends Pet Rescue's Adoption Policy
~We do not adopt to homes with animals who are not spayed or neutered unless there is a valid reason such as vet recommendation. ~We do check references including landlord if you rent and your vet both past and present. ~We do not adopt to homes that plan on declawing the cat we have adopted out to you or that plan on letting a cat outside (unless on a leash and harness under owner's continued observation). ~If we see something on your application that we are concerned about, we will always try and have a conversation with you to find out the why. We understand you might have declawed a cat in the past or had to rehome an animal. It can happen to anyone. We like to dig deeper and won't deny someone just based on surface information.
