Ember came to us because her previous owner had inherited her and he was having trouble making ends meet, subsequently she was often not being fed well.
We can see her being ok with a household with another adult cat, given a slow introduction, but she would also be perfectly fine as an only cat for someone looking for a cuddle buddy.
