Ellie's Story
Ellie may be tiny, but she has a huge personality and an even bigger heart.

This sweet girl came to us after being discovered frightened and alone in a kind Samaritan's garage. Once safely rescued, Ellie moved into a foster home where she could decompress and learn that people can be trusted. In just two short weeks, she has made incredible progress and shown us what a brave, resilient little kitten she truly is.

Ellie is healthy, confident, and full of spunk. She isn't one to back down when meeting dogs and approaches life with curiosity and courage. She's also a big fan of mealtime and never misses an opportunity for a good snack!

While Ellie is affectionate, she's also wonderfully independent. She may not become the constant lap cat some adopters dream of, and being held for long periods isn't really her thing. However, when she's getting pets, her powerful little purr motor starts right up, and she'll let you know when she wants attention. In fact, she has been known to cry when she can't find her favorite human!

One of Ellie's favorite activities is playing with the resident cats in her foster home. She would thrive in a home with a young feline friend—or two—who can keep up with her playful energy. Respectful dogs are welcome too.

If you're looking for a kitten with confidence, personality, and a playful spirit, Ellie might be your perfect match.

Ellie's Ideal Home:

Another young, playful cat companion
Respectful, cat-savvy dogs are okay
A family that appreciates an independent but affectionate kitty
Plenty of toys, adventures, and love
Could Ellie be the missing piece of your family? Cats can easily live between 13-20 years. And while kittens are easily adopted into loving homes, adult cats are simply not! Most adult cats abandoned or surrendered by their owners are simply euthanized in shelters for lack of finding another home (as an adult).

If you cannot commit to this animal for its lifetime of care for up to 20 years - if you move, take your cat; if you add a baby to your family, keep the cat; etc. - please consider adopting an adult cat versus a kitten.
